Ai-Aiba -The Rock Painting Lodge is
dramatically set against imposing granite boulders in the foothills
of the Erongo Mountain range. Steeped in history these ancient rock
formations are the eroded remains of a volcanic complex about 130
million years old.
The lodge with its high thatched roof restaurant, lounge and pool
is an oasis surrounded by tall palms and scenic vistas of magnificent
rocky outcrops and bush savannah.
10 African inspired private chalets made up of 20 rooms provide
comfortable accommodation that optimises the unique setting.
Trekking on foot through an incredible wilderness of rare adapted
fauna and flora framed by precariously balanced boulders, is a reminder
of the ancient relationship between man and nature.
Famous for its countless rock painting sites Ai-Aiba is a mystical
exploration of nature.
